Treatment may vary depending on the patient’s health, age, mental state. It may also depend on the type of incontinence.

Kegel exercises

Pelvic floor exercises help a person to strengthen the urinary and pelvic floor muscles.

Bladder training

You can also delay the urine for a specific time to increase the control over the bladder. You can also set a timetable for your toilet visit. You can go to the toilet every 2 hours to empty your bladder.

For better results, you can use medicines with a combination of Kegel exercises and bladder training. Detrusitol and Vesicare are the medicines mostly used to prevent the urinary incontinence.
